  What is the  difference between Urine and Hair Drug Screen Many employers find it useful to test both hair and urine drug testing for pre-employment purposes. Urine drug testing is useful for detecting recent or new drug use (last 1-3 days except Marijuana which is longer) and hair for providing an approximate three-month drug history.

how does Miami Lab protect my privacy?Customers choose which method to receive their lab test results (U.S. Mail, Fax, Pick Up). Your results are not given to your physician and not included on your medical record. However, customers may provide the results to their physician if desired. Our employees are trained on HIPAA regulations and compliance.
what is an MRO?MRO qualifications require that the MRO is licensed as a medical doctor (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) in any one state. The MRO must have knowledge of substance abuse disorders, plus clinical experience. The MRO must pass a certification test by a nationally recognized MRO certification board (e.g., ASAM, MROCC, AAMRO and complete a mandated training curriculum. MROs do not work for the laboratory nor do they have a financial relationship with the laboratory. Miami Lab maintains this independent relationship with the MRO in all of its operations.
